1. Scope
This policy covers how we handle personal information when you visit minissh.com, use the MiniSSH console, or rent and manage a cloud Mac physical server. Browsing public pages, creating an account, placing and paying for an order, and submitting a support ticket involve different records, as explained below.
This policy applies to service information collected and managed by MiniSSH. It does not affect your ownership of code, project materials, or other files on your dedicated physical server. Stripe processes payment card details. See Section 2 for how we record orders and verify payments.
2. Information we collect
Account and service records. We process your account email, order records, and associated rental period information to identify your account, provision a server, and check service status. If you submit a support ticket, we process your description of the issue, server ID, time of the incident, and any troubleshooting materials you choose to provide.
Login and security records. We keep login logs, including login times, source IP addresses, and necessary access results, to detect unusual access, troubleshoot account issues, and protect service security. In support tickets, include only log excerpts relevant to the issue. Do not attach passwords, private keys, or complete sets of sensitive project materials.
Payment information. We accept USDT-TRC20 and Visa / Mastercard / Amex (via Stripe), with all payments settled in USD. Stripe processes payment card details; MiniSSH does not store card numbers. For USDT-TRC20 on-chain payment verification, we record only the transaction hash. We will never ask for your wallet’s private key or seed phrase. Order records and payment verification results are used to confirm whether the associated service has been paid for.
3. How we use information
We use account emails and order records to provision and manage servers, show rental periods and invoices, send renewal reminders, and match payments to orders. Service-related notices are sent to your account email or made available in the console.
We use support ticket content to answer pre-sales questions and handle requests about connection issues, system reinstalls, renewals, and other service matters. Login logs are used for security checks and troubleshooting. We process only the information needed for each specific task; one troubleshooting request does not require you to hand over an entire project.
MiniSSH does not sell your personal information. We share relevant information only as necessary to process payments, meet applicable legal obligations, or resolve disputes. For privacy-related questions, you can submit an inquiry using the contact options in Section 7.
4. Server data
You own the code and files stored on your dedicated physical server. MiniSSH does not browse this content or use it for basic usage analytics. Project materials on the server are handled separately from account-level orders, invoices, and support tickets.
If you ask us to help troubleshoot and need to provide logs or other materials, remove keys, tokens, and unrelated personal information first. Materials you choose to include in a support ticket become part of the ticket record. Do not attach project source code that is not needed for routine troubleshooting.
We will remind you to back up your data before your server expires and is reclaimed. Before your rental period ends, export your code, build artifacts, and any configuration you want to keep. Data on the server is erased when it is reclaimed. Closing your account and backing up your server are separate actions; an account closure request does not export or back up files.
5. Cookies and analytics
Cookies are used only for login sessions and basic usage analytics. Login cookies let the console recognize your current session, so you do not have to verify your identity with every action. Basic usage analytics help us understand page visits and usage; they do not access code or files on your server.
You can view, restrict, or clear cookies in your browser settings. If you clear login cookies, you may need to sign in to the console again. Clearing cookies in your browser does not delete your account, order, or support ticket records. To manage those records, submit a request as described in Section 7.
6. Data retention and deletion
While your account is active, we retain the account details, order records, and support ticket content needed to provide the service. Login logs are retained for as long as needed for security investigations. Each type of information is kept only for its stated purpose; using the service does not mean all data is kept indefinitely.
When you request account closure, we verify your request and check whether you have an active rental period, outstanding payments, or an unresolved dispute. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymized. Records that must be retained by law, or are still needed for payment settlement or dispute resolution, are kept only until the relevant obligation or matter is resolved and are not used for other purposes.
Different records do not all have the same fixed retention period. In a closure or deletion request, you can ask which data categories are involved, why any data must be retained, and for how long. Server files are erased according to the expiry and reclamation process in Section 4. The fact that account records are retained does not mean server files can still be recovered.
Submit deletion requests through a support ticket in the console. If you cannot sign in, contact support@minissh.com from your account email. After verifying your identity, we will explain what the request covers. If any records cannot be deleted immediately, we will explain why and what conditions apply to their later handling.
7. Your rights and contact
You can request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of information that is no longer needed, or closure of your account. When submitting a support ticket in the console, specify the data categories and actions you are requesting, along with an order number or server ID to help us locate the records.
If you cannot sign in, or need to report a privacy or data security issue, email us at support@minissh.com. We recommend sending your message from your account email and explaining the login issue you encountered. We may ask for additional information needed to verify your identity, but we will never ask you to email a password, private key, or full card number.
Access, correction, and deletion requests are handled through the same contact channels. We will explain any limits on handling information that must be retained under applicable law or that affects another person’s rights or account security. This policy is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the platform operator is based. Disputes will be handled by a court with jurisdiction in that jurisdiction.
8. Policy updates
We will update this policy if our service processes, data handling practices, or applicable requirements change. The version, effective date, and update date will appear at the top of the page so you can identify the current policy.
We will notify you through the console or your account email about significant changes to the purposes or scope of data processing, or to your rights. If you have questions about an update, mention the relevant section and contact us through a console support ticket or at support@minissh.com.
